1. Solution for windows

Combine a glass of water with a glass of vodka and put the resulting composition in a spray bottle. Add a drop of lavender if you do not support the smell of vodka. But if vodka is too expensive to use as a cleaner, you can use other types of strong alcohol.

2. Whitening product

Mix 3% hydrogen peroxide (which is readily available in pharmacies), with water and a few drops of lavender oil or other aromatic oil, and use the bleaching composition. It is very effective. It can also be mixed or half a cup of lemon juice with 1 liter of hot water, it will work very well for colored laundry.

Hydrogen peroxide does not react with colors; in fact, you can even put a few drops of it directly on your clothes to removes tough stains. You can even dab it on a cotton ball and wipe with stains off.

3. Solution for cleaning the bathtub, toilets, and sinks

Mix four tablespoons of baking soda with one of kosher salt. Clean the tub, sinks, and toilets with this solution. If it is your fear not to scratch them, put on or finer salt. The bath can also be cleaned with a solution of baking soda with lemon juice.

4. Room freshener and purifier

Fill a bottle with water spray and baking soda and a few drops of essential oil. The baking soda acts as an air purifier and drives away bacteria or viruses that are floating in the air. This is great if one of your family members has a cold, and you don’t want anyone else to catch it. The essential oil adds a nice scent behind.

5. Solution for cleaning dishes

Mix lemon juice and baking soda together and brush it over nasty tough stains on your dishes. It works for the bathtub, the sink, and also for the bathroom.

6. Universal cleaning solution

Put a cup of water mixed with vinegar in a spray bottle, then add a little lemon juice. Spray it on surfaces and leave it to set. Then wipe it off. It’s a great cleaning solution that’s safe for your skin too. 

7. Dust Removal Solution

Put in a spray bottle just a teaspoon of coconut oil mixed with water and a little lemon or vinegar on top. This is a perfect solution, especially for varnished wooden surfaces. It’s a great way of cleaning furniture, leaving them looking much brighter. If you do not need a thorough solution, you can only use coconut oil. Coconut oil is best for shining shoes, as well.

8. Anti-mold solution

Mix in a spray bottle some lavender oil, a little lemon, and some water. Keep in mind that lavender is also very good for removing molds.

9. Solution for getting rid of leaks

Combine vinegar with baking soda, in equal quantities, and pour into a drain. This solution is also good for eliminating unpleasant odors.

 10. Carpet cleaning solution

If you think you have dusty carpets, make a solution with water and vinegar and spray it directly on them. This solution also works perfectly well with removing molds and stains.
